SPANISH FOR CHILDREN
P2FJr is a virtual language program specifically designed to promote Spanish language development in children ages 5-12, with an emphasis on developing listening skills and speaking fluency in Spanish, as well as an appreciation of the Spanish
language and the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.
Research has demonstrated that the younger a child begins to receive exposure to a new language, the easier it is to learn. Parents seeking to give their children future advantages in our increasingly globalized society can now look to Passport2Fluency for a program a curriculum and materials specifically designed for children, to provide them with exposure to the Spanish language, and learning opportunities to increase their fluency and their appreciation for the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.
Students learn to provide information about themselves. Emphasis is on self-expression and clarity in conveying personal information.
Students grow their skills by building relationships with other learners, their instructors, and the significant people in their lives and jobs who speak Spanish.
Students expand their skills by exploring the past, present and future of their communities and by building strong community relationships
