SPANISH FOR CHILDREN
Develop listening skills and speaking fluency
Ages 5-12
Appreciate the Spanish
language and cultures
WHY NOW?
Research shows that the younger a child begins to receive exposure to a new language, the easier it is to learn. Parents seeking to give their children future advantages in our increasingly globalized society should seek to provide them with exposure to the Spanish language.
OUR GOALS
Listening
Improve listening skills. Class time is enriched with audio and video materials to reinforce concepts
Thinking
Speaking
Students practice their speaking skills with their coaches every time they meet, and they are taught that errors are simply opportunities for learning.
Connecting
Learning to communicate is all about making connections with others. Our program provides ample opportunities to do that
Enjoying
Students find new ways of organizing their thoughts, they will compare and contrast structures across languages, they will learn to
visualize concepts, and they will learn to appreciate the variations and similarities in cultures different from their own.
Having fun is FUN-damental to learning a language! We aim to make our classes an exciting and fun experience for our students, so they are relaxed and open to learning, and so that they become committed to lifelong learning and improvement.
